Spear F Cattle Company is headquartered in Bloomfield, New Mexico. We raise high quality Angus and Akaushi cattle on our pastures in northwest New Mexico and southern Colorado. We’ve joined forces with our son, Jake and his family in Roy, Utah.

Lamar grew up farming and ranching in New Mexico. Melanie was raised in the city but adapted quickly to the cattle. Together, we have raised cattle most of our 42 years of married life.

Lamar’s passion for raising cattle continues on with his son, Jake. He and his wife Shannon have loved being able to provide their kids with opportunities to experience the joy and work involved with raising animals. From their operation in Roy, Utah, their family has added their resources to Spear F Cattle Company.
